PORTLAND

Bruce Brubaker performed together with Francesco Tristano SIMULCAST at the Steinway basement in New York for my movie EVERYBODY’S CAGE. This was the most intense and surprising concert I’ve ever listened to.

Tomorrow Saturday 30th of January EVERYBODY’S CAGE will be shown at the Filmcenter of the  Museum of Art in Portland. Thanks to Morgen Ruff for the invitation! This will be the first screening in the US and I’m very keen how the audience will react. Inessa Anderson wrote already a very nice article about the movie. I really recommend to read this…

Unfortunately I can’t be there. But I wish everybody a nice screening! Would be interesting to hear how Portland sounds in the snow ;).

HAMBURG

But tomorrow there is also another special event. Bruce Brubaker will performe in Hamburg.  This time he will play Philipp Glas at the Birdland Jazzclub. I’m looking forward to meet this amazing pianist and wonderful person again. See you there!
